System types

On-grid, off-grid or hybrid?

The right type depends on grid availability, backup needs and budget. We explain the trade-offs before you decide.

On-Grid Solar System

Connected to the electricity grid. Solar power is used first, and surplus may be exported under your distribution company's applicable metering rules. Typically no batteries.

Off-Grid Solar System

Works independently of the grid with battery storage. Suited to locations where grid supply is unavailable or unreliable.

Hybrid Solar System

Combines grid connection with battery backup, so essential loads can keep running during power cuts.

Pricing

Clear prices. Quality components.

Complete systems, priced upfront. All prices include GST and installation.

How "+ subsidy" works

For eligible residential systems, your final cost is the package price shown above.

Subsidy available until 31 March 2027

  1. STEP 1

    Pay at installation

You pay the package price plus the applicable government subsidy amount.

  2. STEP 2

    Subsidy is processed

The subsidy claim is processed under the government scheme for eligible systems.

  3. STEP 3

    Subsidy credited back

Once approved, the subsidy is credited to you, so your final cost is the package price.

Subsidy amounts

Up to 2 kW
₹30,000 per kW
₹60,000 for a 2 kW system
Additional capacity up to 3 kW
₹18,000 per kW
₹78,000 for a 3 kW system
Systems larger than 3 kW
₹78,000
Maximum cap for residential households
Housing societies (GHS / RWA)
₹18,000 per kW
Common facilities, up to 500 kW

The current phase of PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana runs until 31 March 2027. Special category states receive an additional 10% subsidy per kW. Subsidy is paid only for systems that are eligible under the scheme rules. If a system is not eligible, no subsidy is credited back.
